Balaghat GDS Recruitment 2026: 77 Vacancies, Eligibility, Salary and Selection Process
The Department of Posts has released the Balaghat GDS Recruitment 2026 notification for eligible candidates seeking engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). Balaghat GDS Salary 2026
Selected GDS candidates will receive Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) according to their cadre. The applicable TRCA slabs are as follows:

MP Balaghat Post Office GDS Vacancy 2026 Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for Balaghat GDS Recruitment 2026 must have passed the 10th Standard Secondary School Examination (SSE) with passing marks in Mathematics and English from a recognized Board of School Education recognized by the Government of India, State Governments or Union Territories.
Candidates must also have studied the prescribed local language up to at least Class 10 from a recognized board. The local language specified for the posts listed in the Balaghat Division is Hindi.
Other Required Qualifications
Apart from the 10th qualification, candidates should have:
- Knowledge of computers.
- Knowledge of cycling.
- Adequate means of livelihood.

For candidates whose marksheets contain grades/points instead of marks, the prescribed conversion method will be used as per the official rules. Candidates should enter marks carefully because applications submitted with grades/points instead of the required marks may be liable for cancellation.
Application Fee
The application fee for the notified GDS posts is ₹100. However, the fee is exempted for eligible female applicants, SC/ST applicants, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Transwomen applicants.
